Connecticut Senate sends LVT Bill to the House

The New London Day pubished this article explaining the pilot project natureof the bill, which will permit New London to enact LVT. the bill was modified somewhat in the legislative process; with oppostion from groups that specialize in using land in urban settings in the most unintensive way possible. The bill also received support from Sen. Andrew Maynard, D-Stonington, and New London's two state representatives, Democrats Ernest Hewett and Edward Moukawsher, who are co-sponsors. It now proceeds to the House of Representatives.
